The sky in Lanzhou, capital of Northwest China's Gansu province is now often blue, and the air is crisp and mild. In summer, the Yellow River, bridges, green trees and azure sky all combine to create a picturesque view.

The city's greatly improved ecological environment and pleasant living conditions have been a boon for residents. The city plans to roll out Yellow River tourism rides where people can enjoy the natural splendor of the waters.
