Lanzhou, capital city of Gansu province, held a meeting for Party officials on June 2 to thoroughly study the spirit of the 14th Gansu Provincial Congress of the Communist Party of China.

Lanzhou is expected to develop itself into a core area with sound factor agglomeration environment, strong logistics transportation and regional consumption conditions.

According to the meeting, efforts should be made to consolidate the provincial capital's growth and expand intra-county economies, with a view to enhancing the abilities of scientific and technological innovation and firming up industrial output.

In addition, the meeting called for proactive steps to optimize institutional mechanism and organization establishment in related fields, so as to provide a solid guarantee for the city's high-quality development.

All localities and departments are supposed to study and implement the spirit of the conference as an important political task.
