Job seekers and recruiters benefit from livestreaming

Qilihe district in Lanzhou, Gansu province, held an online employment fair for college graduates on Aug 17, at which 33 employers offered 271 job opportunities.

Recruiters spoke about working conditions, salaries, on-the-job training and development potential. The livestreaming job fair attracted 128,000 views, and some 31 letters of intent were signed.

The district's government leaders also introduced this year's overall situation in regards to entrepreneurship work, and interpreted the policies for stabilizing and promoting employment to help job seekers make the right decisions.

During the event, livestreaming offered job seekers more opportunities and choices while saving them traveling costs. Recruiters share the information provided by applicants, which also improved efficiency.

At the same time, the district released a wealth of information on online recruitment on the Wechat account "Qilihejiuye", in the event that some people had no time to watch the live broadcast.
