Gansu Provincial Museum rolled out mooncakes in eight different flavors and featuring different archaeological relic designs to mark Mid-Autumn Festival, which falls on Sept 10.

The motifs, including the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220)'s Galloping Horse Treading on a Flying Swallow bronze sculpture and the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368)'s lotus-shaped glass holder, were inspired by the museum's collections.

Each bite of the mooncakes will help people feel closer to the history of these cultural relics.
