Various activities, including a picture exhibition showcasing tourism attractions in Gansu and some central Asian countries, conferences on promoting Gansu tourism and international travel trade cooperation, a launch ceremony of Gansu cultural tourism investment promotion project, a Northwest China tourism cooperation meeting, and a dialogue with the World Tourism Alliance representatives, will be held in Zhangye during the five-day festival. Additionally, study tours will be held to invite foreign university students in China to visit the scenic areas and historical sites across Gansu.
