The Lily Swimming Pool of the Lanzhou Olympic Sports Center in Gansu province opened its doors on June 2.

Covering an area of about 30,000 square meters, the earthquake-resistant natatorium can accommodate a 3,000-strong audience.

The center boasts a swimming competition pool, a warm-up training pool and a diving pool in a hall that meets international standards across the board. The world-class facilities can accommodate domestic and world-class diving, swimming, water polo, and synchronized swimming competitions.

Once accessible to the public, it will also serve as an important base for fitness, amusement, and diving training.
