In the Lanzhou Yellow River Scenic Belt, many young people from around the mainland are gathering under the bright lights to dine, drink and be entertained when night falls.
Passenger arrivals in Lanzhou, capital and a prominent river city in Northwest China's Gansu province, reached 603,722 from July 1 to July 21 this year, with a year-on-year increase of 130.25 percent.
The number is also within a rise of 32.65 percent compared with the same period in 2019 before the COVID-19 epidemic, data from the municipal development and reform commission showed.
