Northwest China's Gansu province has optimized its immigration inspection models to ensure an efficient and convenient flow of personnel and goods and achieve high-level opening-up to outside world.
Statistics show that the province's airports have received over 32,000 passengers over 333 flights as of Dec 1 this year, which is 13 times and 28 times more, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
To optimize the business environment, Gansu has implemented immigration management policies that benefit enterprises - facilitating clearance for cargo planes and supporting airlines in adding new international routes.
Over the past five years, Gansu immigration checkpoints have implemented full-time cargo plane clearance services on more than 200 civil aviation cargo planes, prioritizing the release of over 3,500 tons of important production materials.
With an eye on streamlining administration, improving regulations, and upgrading services, Gansu immigration checkpoints introduced multiple measures to facilitate convenience and benefits for enterprises.
Transparency mechanisms have been implemented to shorten citizen entry time to no more than 30 minutes. In addition, the 12367 immigration management government service platform has enhanced the comfort and sense of satisfaction of inbound and outbound personnel.
Over the past five years, immigration checkpoints have provided safe and smooth clearance services for over 330,000 people. At the same time, they have fulfilled their humanitarian assistance obligations by establishing green channels for 11 emergency assistance passengers.
