After a 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck Jishishan county in Northwest China's Gansu province late Monday evening, the city of Lanzhou, capital of the the province, swiftly activated its emergency mechanism.
Lanzhou Zhongchuan International Airport is fully committed to ensuring the transport of rescue supplies and personnel. The staff have been collaborating with relevant departments and emergency response forces in the disaster area.
