The Lanzhou Zhongchuan International Airport in Lanzhou, capital of Northwest China's Gansu province is undergoing a huge expansion. 

By the end of July 2024, it will have a new T3 terminal that covers 400,000 square meters, which is more than four times the size of T1 and T2 combined.
