A landmark achievement has been realized in Gansu province with the successful commissioning of Baihe 330kV Substation on April 29, marking the province's first fully enclosed substation. This state-of-the-art facility, designed with a double-layer indoor layout, integrates 330kV and 110kV substations, forming a crucial component of the Gansu Lanzhou Central 330kV Transmission and Transformation Project.

The Gansu Lanzhou Central 330kV Transmission and Transformation Project comprises four 330kV outgoing lines, 24 110kV outgoing lines, a substation capacity of 720,000 kVA, a line length of 28.98 kilometers, and 46 erected towers. Its commissioning will significantly enhance the grid network structure of the nine 110kV substations in Lanzhou's main urban area, effectively meeting the long-term electricity demand for the city's core area and bolstering the reliability and security of power supply in the heart of Lanzhou.

The successful commissioning of Gansu province's first fully enclosed 330kV substation and the Gansu Lanzhou Central 330kV Transmission and Transformation Project represent significant milestones in State Grid Gansu Electric Power Company's commitment to promoting the construction of a modern intelligent distribution grid. These initiatives will continuously optimize grid operation, accelerate the construction of a new power system, and support energy transformation and development. They also mark a pivotal moment in the development of Lanzhou's core urban power grid, establishing a robust four-corner support structure and substantially enhancing the distribution grid's load-bearing capacity, paving the way for high-quality grid development.
