The Lanzhou-Wuwei section of the Lanzhou-Zhangye High-Speed Railway is now in trial operation.

With a designed speed of 250 km/h, travel time between Lanzhou and Wuwei will be reduced to under two hours, which is crucial for the economic development of the Hexi Corridor regions.
