Lanzhou, capital of Northwest China's Gansu province, has announced the second batch of 96 pocket parks.

Pocket parks are small gardens and green areas on street corners, in industrial zones and between apartment complexes. The parks are expected to not only meet the daily needs of the community but to also serve as a cultural showcase, providing a great place for residents to take a leisurely walk and enjoy themselves.
