On Aug 5, the newly upgraded front square of Lanzhou Railway Station commenced trial operation, significantly enhancing convenience for both local residents and travelers.

The historic Lanzhou Railway Station, established in October 1952, has long been a crucial transportation hub in Gansu province. This recent improvement project marks a significant milestone in the station's ongoing modernization efforts.

During the trial period, the local transportation authorities will actively gather feedback and suggestions, scientifically analyze operational data, and further refine operational mechanisms. They aim to strengthen the station’s comprehensive management and optimize traffic organization to ensure the forecourt operates safely, smoothly, and orderly, thereby enhancing the sense of satisfaction, happiness, and fulfillment among travelers and local residents.

The renovated forecourt is rich in local character, retaining the iconic bronze horse sculpture, a landmark of Lanzhou. Newly constructed stone pillars are engraved with images of Lanzhou's distinctive sights, such as Zhongshan Bridge and Five Springs Mountain, providing visitors with picturesque spots for sightseeing and photography.
