Produced by Everflow Media over the course of a year, the crew conducted in-depth field research in Zhangjiachuan county, capturing rural cultural life with a nuanced perspective. The documentary showcases the spirit of Gansu residents and introduces audiences to the unique appeal of Gansu's Horse Shehuo tradition.
The cultural exchange between Chinese people and a foreign participant provides a fresh perspective for the film, revealing commonalities through contrast and evoking emotional resonance through storytelling.
The documentary aims to enlighten young and international audiences about Chinese culture and ancient traditions. By leveraging "historical depth" to overcome "spatial barriers," it presents Chinese cultural beauty to global audiences while promoting exchange and mutual learning between different civilizations.
