Vietnamese student Cao Thi Nhu Quynh was impressed by her first experience in Lanzhou. She enjoyed authentic Lanzhou beef noodles and revelled in the leisurely atmosphere by the Yellow River. She also marveled at China's modern development, especially the convenient lifestyle locals enjoy courtesy of mobile payments and a highly efficient transportation system.
