International student He Yinyin from Gansu University of Chinese Medicine joined students from the Lanzhou No 8 Middle School for a Song brocade workshop on March 19. They crafted horse pendants to celebrate the Year of the Horse, learning about this renowned national intangible cultural heritage. From cutting fabric to adding their own personal touches, the students embraced the delicate craft, making new friends along the way and experiencing the richness of traditional Chinese culture.
