An international communication event titled "Silk Road IP, Opportunities in China" was launched in Lanzhou on June 22, bringing eight international visitors to the city to explore its cultural heritage, industrial development, and scientific innovation.

The event included visits to key sites such as the Lanzhou Heavy Ion Center, the CNPC Lanzhou Petrochemical Complex, and the Lanzhou Beef Noodle Museum. Participants observed China's high-end medical technology, industrial systems, and intangible cultural heritage up close.

At the Lanzhou Heavy Ion Center, visitors learned about domestically developed carbon-ion cancer treatment systems, regarded as advanced medical equipment replete with independent intellectual property rights. The facility represents one of the few clinical heavy-ion platforms in the world and serves as a regional hub for precision medicine.

At the CNPC Lanzhou Petrochemical, historical displays illustrated the city's early industrial development and the evolution of China's petrochemical sector from basic production to advanced materials.

A cultural highlight of the program was a hands-on experience making Lanzhou beef noodles, a nationally recognized intangible cultural heritage. Visitors attempted traditional hand-pulling techniques under the guidance of an instructor before concluding their visit at Zhongshan Bridge.
