Lanzhou trade fair showcases Silk Road ties, Gansu industries

The 32nd China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair is underway at the Gansu International Convention and Exhibition Center from July 9 to 13, featuring five major exhibition areas covering Silk Road cooperation, regional exchanges, competitive industries, consumer goods and trade products, and local "Gansu Flavor" specialties.

The 54,000-square-meter venue has attracted more than 1,900 enterprises from 30 countries and international organizations around the world. Exhibitors will present thousands of products across nearly 40 categories, including equipment manufacturing, AI, petrochemicals, and agricultural products.

The Silk Road International Cooperation Exhibition Area highlights the fair's international participation. Pakistan, one of the guest countries, has invited 18 companies to present more than 50 brands, while South Korea is showcasing food, cosmetics, fashion accessories, and household products. Exhibitors from countries including Thailand, Brazil, and Germany are also participating.

The Lanzhou exhibition area features local achievements in traditional Chinese medicine, advanced manufacturing, and emerging technologies, including industrial drones, humanoid robots, and radar systems. The Gansu Competitive Industries Exhibition Area features displays from 14 cities and prefectures, highlighting sectors such as integrated circuits, renewable energy, agriculture, and traditional Chinese medicine.

The fair also includes consumer-focused sections with imported goods, specialty products, and more than 1,000 "Gansu Flavor" products from key sectors including livestock, vegetables, fruits, potatoes, medicinal products, grain, and seeds.
