Information on nucleic acid testing for foreigners in Lanzhou
Lanzhou, capital of Northwest China's Gansu province, has started the fifth round of all-inclusive nucleic acid testing amid the resurgence of COVID-19 cases.
A total of 34 residential compounds in Northwest China's Gansu province had been put under closed-off management as of Thursday due to the emergence of COVID-19 cases, local authorities said Friday.
The number of severe COVID-19 patients in Gansu province, one of the hardest hit areas during the latest outbreak in China, grew to 13-nearly one-fifth of the province's total-on Thursday, which deserves attention.

In view of the recent COVID-19 outbreaks, Northwest China's Gansu province has initiated the fourth round of nucleic acid testing in the provincial capital of Lanzhou.
To better protect the health of residents of Lanzhou in Gansu province, the local government used large-scale agricultural spraying drones to step up its disinfection of public areas on Oct 27 as part of anti-epidemic measures.
