Ceremonies were held recently to award commemorative medals to members holding five decades of membership in the Communist Party of China (CPC). The ceremonies took place in the western part of Renjiazhuang Street, Dunhuang Road, Qilihe District.
The "Glorious 50 years as a CPC member" commemorative medals symbolize the appreciation felt towards those who have been Party members for 50 years or more and still retain their original enthusiasm. They also convey the care and warmth of the Party.
Holding such an event is of great significance when it comes to enhancing Party members' sense of honor, belonging and duty, said Liu Qing, a cadre of Qilihe district.
Other entities of Qilihe district will also carry out activities to offer out commemorative medals and send their blessings to the recipients.
