Qilihe goes all out to treat medical waste

Qilihe district of Lanzhou, Gansu province dispatched more than 300 officials to carry out continuous inspections of medical waste treatment at 15 medical institutions, 28 quarantine sites, 10 controlled communities, 297 nucleic acid testing sites and two temporary waste reservoirs. 

As of Nov 4, a total of 138.2 tons of medical waste had been properly disposed of, ensuring minimization and decontamination in accordance with the law. The sewage treatment facilities also kept stable operation during this emergency period.
