"Lanzhou lily bulb", recommended by the Qilihe Administration for Market Regulation in Lanzhou, Gansu province, ranked 78th on the list of 2021 Regional Public Brands of Agricultural Products with Chinese Characteristics.

The result was announced during the China Regional Agricultural Brands Development Forum in Beijing on Dec 31, 2021. According to organizers, over 1,000 candidate agricultural brands made their way into the preliminary list.
The China Brand magazine established a catalogue system of domestic brands in 2018, and it has become a major index for appraisal creation and development. It aims to screen out competitive agricultural brands that will promote local industries, help people to get rich and promote rural revitalization.
Qilihe district of Lanzhou has taken efforts to strengthen the geographical indication of "Lanzhou lily bulb" brand over the past few years.
During the 2016 China Brand Evaluation Press Conference, lily bulb products were estimated at about 4.61 billion yuan ($720 million). Its market value was assessed to be roughly 5.34 billion yuan at the Alibaba Harvest Shopping Festival four years later.
