The "vegetable basket" supply includes potatoes, radishes, cabbages, onions, carrots and broccoli. Their prices are about 20 percent lower than the market retail price. People can buy them at three designated markets.
The vegetables are sufficient and reliable, the Qilihe Development and Reform Bureau said after on-site inspections of two storage companies.
During the holiday, the companies are required to put up signs that clearly indicate the activity time, variety and price of vegetables, as well as a supervision hotline that customers can call.
