China will raise the curtain on a series of activities including exhibitions and forums to celebrate the upcoming Cultural and Natural Heritage Day on June 11.
This year's event is hosted by the National Cultural Heritage Administration (NCHA) and the government of Gansu province, with the theme of "Cultural Relics Protection: Progress with Times and Shared by People".
Forums pertaining to preservation of cultural relics and related technological innovation will also be held in Lanzhou, capital of the province, to reflect the relics' rich connotations with the development of the times.
In response to the call of the NCHA, cultural relics departments across the country will carry out more than 6,300 online and offline activities to showcase the charms of the cultural and expo industry.
