Museum tours have drawn the interest of local residents to traditional Chinese culture during the Spring Festival holiday in Lanzhou, capital of Northwest China's Gansu province.

People are expected to dive into the fantastic selection of activities at the Gansu Science and Technology Museum from Jan 25 to Feb 5.

On Jan 26, an onsite event was launched in which visitors can build ancient Chinese architecture using blocks. Teenagers are able to learn how to build the Ningxiang Pavilion in the Forbidden City in a mortise and tenon structure under guidance from instructors.
The Dream Theater introduced holographic black technology for classic plays and the new popular science film Lu Xiaoban's Dream House.
On Feb 3, the Science Practice and Experience Center will hold a "puzzle treasure hunt" activity, which will focus on popular science games involving physics and chemistry experiments.
