On May 28, the Qilihe District Administration for Rural Revitalization was formally inaugurated at the former headquarters of Qilihe District Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development.

Zhao Suocheng, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee of Qilihe District and deputy head of Qilihe district, attended the ceremony.

According to a circular detailing the rearrangements of municipal-level and county-level poverty alleviation departments, the Qilihe District Administration for Rural Revitalization was established in order to replace the Qilihe District Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development, and put under the leadership of the Qilihe Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

The formation of the administration is one of the major measures taken by the district to consolidate and expand its achievements in poverty alleviation, with efforts to promote rural revitalization. It will also inject new strengths and provide an institutional guarantee to the district's endeavors to strengthen and increase its achievements in poverty reduction and comprehensively advance its strategies towards rural revitalization.

The administration will prioritize its efforts to consolidate and expand its achievements in poverty reduction, improve the mechanisms for monitoring and assisting people who fall back into poverty, and devote more concrete action towards accelerating rural revitalization.
